Of Malden, formerly of Everett, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 23rd. He was the beloved husband of Grace, devoted father of Devyn, affectionate stepfather of Joseph, loving brother of Gina and stepbrother of Sarah Gill, and dear uncle of Scott.

Eddie was the son of the late Edward J. Garofano, Sr. and Carolyn (Stack) Garofano and stepson of the late Joseph Wojciechowski. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and in-laws, and a tremendous amount of friends, all of whom loved his wit and his unique sense of humor. His warm charm and smile would light up a room and he will be sorely missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Eddie was a graduate of Everett High School and Wentworth Institute of Technology. He was also an active member of IBEW Local 103.

A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Joseph Church, 790 Salem St, Malden at 10:00 am, followed by a burial at Holy Cross Cemetery (Malden).

Gina my deepest condolences to you as you at the loss of your brother. I was close to Eddie as a child and enjoyed seeing and talking to him and your dad everyday at lunch in highschool. I lost touch with Eddie after graduation but I still have very fond memories of him and you as we were growing up. I pray God will comfort you thru this difficult time and I pray you will always remember your special memories you shared together. My heart, thoughts and prayers are with you. Love cousin Dawn

Gina, we are very sorry to hear about your brother Eddie, although we never met you or Eddie, we grew up with your mother and father. We are your second cousins. I went to school with Carol and Sonny was my husbands cousin. His nickname is Junie. My children knew and spoke with Eddie. Such a young age, so so sorry. Pat & Junie Garofano
