McGAHEY, Joyce M. (Donahue) At age 70, peacefully passed away on April 4, with her family by her side. Beloved wife of the late James M. McGahey Sr. Beloved daughter to Peter B. and Marie E. (Babin) Donahue. Joyce was raised in Medford where she was one of 9 children. She loved to garden, always having many plants around her and taking pride in her flowerbeds and roses. She is the beloved mother of Deborah Giannetto and her husband William, James M. McGahey Jr. and his wife Stephenie, Thomas A. McGahey and his wife Kerry and Peter J. McGahey and his wife Breanne. She leaves 9 beloved grandchildren, Robert, Michael, Jamee, Katherine, Thomas, Jacob, Moira, Nathaniel and John. Loving sister of Jean Gear, Mary Lou DeBenedictis, Thomas, Leo, and Joseph Donahue, Deb Falco and the late Ann Balian and Edward Donahue. She also leaves many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Salvatore Rocco and Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main St., EVERETT, on Saturday, April 8 at 9 a.m. Funeral Mass at the Immaculate Conception Church in Everett at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours are Friday only 4-8 p.m. Complimentary valet parking Friday at Main St. entrance. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
