McAdam, Theresa, “Tessie” (Palmer), Age 96 of Everett, passed away early Sunday morning, December 11th at Daniel’s Nursing Home in Reading. Loving wife of the late Eugene “Scotty” McAdam. Dear sister of John “Sonny” Palmer of Somerville, the late Mary Sistito and the late Anna Coffey. Devoted mother of James of Lynnfield, John of Poughkeepsie, NY, Kathleen of Lincoln, CA, Terri of Swampscott, Jean of Everett, Paul of Windham, NH and Meg of Piedmont, CA and the late Patricia of Seminole, FL. Cherished grandmother of Albert, Lisa, Sean, Scott, Caitlin, Nevada, Sophia and Rocco and caring great-grandmother of Colton, Alyse, Kyle, Danielle, Liam, Emily and Caroline. Theresa devoted her life to her family and was married 54 years when Eugene passed in 1991. Theresa had a special love for children and was an avid supporter of children’s causes. Aside from raising her own children, one of the highlights of Theresa’s life was volunteering at a daycare center. Children brought her great happiness and gave significant meaning to her life. Funeral from Salvatore Rocco & Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main Street, Everett, Thursday, December 15 at 9:00 am. A Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, 489 Broadway, Everett at 10:00 am. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday 4 to 8 pm. Relatives and friends are invited. Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery. Complimentary valet parking Wednesday at Main Street entrance. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Theresa’s name to her favorite charity St. Jude's Children Hospital.

I was so blessed to have know her kindness, compassion, love and friendship. She was a friend who always listened. There are so many memories of Tessie and all bring smiles.
