O'DONNELL, Ella Jade
Of Peabody, on November 4th, age 10, after an 11 month courageous battle with brain cancer. Daughter of Dennis and Erin (Sandquist) O'Donnell. Sister of Sydney Lynn. Granddaughter of John and Karen Sandquist of Peabody, formerly of Melrose, and the late Dennis and Theresa O'Donnell. Niece of Sean O'Donnell, Christine Breen, Celeste Marquise and Carrie Connor, 7 cousins and the countless lives that she touched. Funeral will be Thursday, November 10 from St. Ann's Church, 140 Lynn Street, Peabody, MA at 9:30 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours will also be in St. Ann's Church Wednesday from 3-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ella's memory may be made to Ella's Army Fund, TD Bank, 79 Lynnfield Street, Peabody, MA 01960. Ella was a proud member of the North Shore Dance Academy, Scarlet Dance Team. Interment will be in the Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody. All flowers deliveries must be made directly to St. Ann's Church Wednesday morning.

Words cannot express how deeply sad we are feeling today to learn of your loss of sweet, beautiful Ella. She fought such a great fight. Our hearts are breaking over the news of sweet Ella. She fought a fight like a champion. Ella's smile and indomitable spirt will forever be remembered by our family and all who had the honor and pleasure of meeting such an amazing, sweet, & beautiful young woman. May she fly high and dance forever with the Angels above. May you rest and watch over your family sweet Ella. We are heartbroken for all of you and your loss of beautiful Ella. Thank you for sharing her with her dance team and allowing us to breathe in the beauty of her smile. Your scarlet team will always be your team and Olivia and I will always think of you with a smile because that's what you did for everyone who knew you, you smiled. Erin, Dennis and Sydney, there are no words I can say to you other than you are not alone and you have so many who will lift you up when you need it most. Ella will be missed but never forgotten. Sydney, Erin & Dennis ~ words seem so small at a time like this. I’m so very sorry for your loss. Your loss is heavens gain, as they’ve gained an angel today. May you find comfort in knowing that as Ella has passed to the far side of the sky, she can spread her wings wide where she can fly and soar without any further suffering. Ella will stand forever in the light of an amazing grace in heaven. I can’t image she’d want you crying for her, but rather to remember all the great memories that you have. One of my favorite quotes is... "Death leaves a heartache that no one can heal, but love leaves memories that no one can steal." My first ...and lasting ...encounter with Ella was as a 2 year old at my dear friend (and Ella's aunt) Celeste's wedding. She was a bouncy, energetic, lovely little girl that simply enchanted me. She was an adorable little toddler that I encountered a few years later as a lovely little girl. What a beauty! My heart truly goes out to you for the loss of your beautiful daughter, sister, niece and friend. May God bless you and give you the strength to get through this time. My prayers are with you and Ella's lovely soul in Heaven.
