KUMAR, Hope (Holmes) Of Everett on Sept. 10. Mother of Tanya Holmes of Oregon, Tajah Holmes of Boston, Yusef (Joey) Holmes of Everett, Tina (Uche) Holmes of Boston, Valerie (Uzo) Holmes of Boston, Desta Habtemariam of Malden and the late Timothy Holmes. Hope had 3 brothers and is survived by 7 grandchildren. Hope grew up in Plympton and became a community activist when she moved to Boston in the 60’s. She loved to travel, cook and collect porcelain dolls. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
