SCENNA, Giovanni "John" Of Stoneham, formerly of Everett, on May 15th. Born in Orsogna, Abruzzi, Italy. Beloved husband of the late Angela (Mastrocola). Father of Rocco and his wife Columba of Stoneham and the late Mario and his surviving wife, Donna, of Pepperell. Brother of Margerita Mastrocola of Rome, the late Pasquale, Ida Caniglia and Concetta D'Alleva. Also survived by six grandchildren: John, Paul, Nick, Mario, Anthony, Nicole and 9 great grandchildren. Funeral from the Salvatore Rocco & Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main St., EVERETT, Thursday, May 19th at 9 a.m. Funeral Mass in the St. Anthony Church, Everett, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours Wednesday 4 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mr. Scenna's memory may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 10 Brookline Place, West, Brookline, MA 02445. John was a Charter Member of the Sons of Orsogna Association of Everett and a longtime member of the Mass. Laborers Union Local #22. Entombment will be in the Holy Cross Masouleum, Malden. Complimentary valet parking will be available at the funeral home during Wednesday's Wake.
