Ma, it's 10:00 AM on Tuesday morning. Betsy just left for work. I should be just now dropping you off at A.J.Wright as the doors are being unlocked; you would again be their first customer of the day! "Buy and change, buy and change!" Dad always said! I feel as though I should go around to all of your usual haunts to tell them you have moved on. They will certainly miss you ...as we all will!
Love, Phillip

Nana Pesce, I am so thankful that I got the chance to know you and spend time with you through Mary Ann! I always enjoyed our visits, though usually brief, as you were a busy lady and rushing around, riding in the back seat of Mary Ann's car, just like a Queen!! You made me laugh so often and always left me missing my own mom, when I saw how much fun you and "Mary" had doing errands. I am so sad that you have left us, but I promise you that I'll keep an eye on your wonderful daughter and her family. You had no idea how many people loved you and will miss you, and, believe me, there were plenty! Enjoy your reunion with Auntie El, Mr. Pesce, and all of the family and friends who were waiting to greet you in Heaven. God bless you always and rest peacefully--Much love, Joan McCabe and Family

Dear Auntie Rose,
I am so thankful Giovanni, Melissa, and me got to spend time with you this June at KK’s house and then again at Lauren’s wedding in August. You got to meet our little boy (your great nephew) for the first time and Melissa and I are grateful to God for making this happen. It’s not easy living in Arizona for so many years and missing you and all my family as the years pass. I know you are in a better place with Uncle Joe and all the gang. I still crave your coffee cake you made for me on Birthday every year! You are a special person.
Grace and Love from my family,
George (Georgie) A. Santora

Rose, My love of chocolate cake with white frosting began in your kitchen almost 49 years ago!
I know you are at peace and reunited with Joe and Auntie El. You should be proud that you have left a wonderful legacy of three loving children and six grandchildren whom all have your spunk and grounded sense of the value of hard work. You were one in a million Rosie and we will all miss you very much! Love, Susan

Rose--My children grew up hearing stories of Easter meals at your house-- "stained glass" cookies were my favorite. You were a legend in our family and many others! Your family was a second family to me during college. I loved spending time in your home and getting to know Joe, Eleanor, Nonnie and the rest of the gang. My life would be missing so much if our paths had not crossed. I promise to do my best to keep your incredible daughter in line. Yeah right...good luck with that. May you rest in peace with those you love, Abby

Dear Philip and Betsy,
My deepest condolences on the loss of Rose. I know she meant so much to your entire family. Please remember we are all praying for you and Rose. What better way to celebrate Christmas but with Jesus himself.
Remember all the good times! We are all here for you.

Mary Ann and Family and All Relatives of Rose,
I know the energy of Rose through Mary Ann and her family, particularly Sam. All I can say is this: I have raised four daughters. Of all of the boys that they have brought home, Sam was the young man with the most compassion and caring- for all of our female clan. To me, that is a testimonial to the legacy and power of Rose that lives on in her daughter Mary Ann and Mary Ann's family. For that, I say- Thank You Rose- a job exceptionally well done!
To Mary Ann and Clan, I am sorry for the holes that will be left in your lives. i hope you can take comfort- few of us get to know the love and devotion of a Mother and Grandmother as you did. She lives on in all of you.
Love,
Pam

Dear Family,
May you find comfort in the fond memories of her and may God give you all the strength to endure this time of sorrow. Remember and rejoice in God's promises in the scriptures to obedient mankind who have fallen asleep in death at Acts 24:15, there will be a resurrection of the righteous and the unrighteous. In addition, very soon pain, sickness, and death will be no more as mentioned in Revelation 21:1-5. My sincere condolences to the family.
