Rose Marie (Panniello) Visconti loving wife of the late Francis D. Visconti passed away on February 11, 2016. She was 92 years old.
Born in Everett, on April 7, 1923, she was the loving daughter of the late Joseph and Louise Panniello. Rose grew up in the Village section of Everett. As a young girl, she worked at the Eagle Shoe Factory, Sexton Can and as a welder at the Charlestown Navy Yard during WWII. She was a homemaker, and raised three children. She enjoyed helping her family raise their children, playing cards with her siblings, Bingo and Foxwoods.
She was sister and sister-in-law to the late Josephine and Rocky Colameta, the late Charles and Julia Panniello, the late Susie and Wally Scanlon, the late Frank Panniello and surviving wife Anna. Survived by her sisters, Mena and her late husband Artie Ardolino, Anne and Rocco Conte, Lorraine Panniello, Louise and her late husband George White, Dorothy and her late husband Bill D’eon and her brother Joseph Panniello and his wife Joanne.
She will be sorely missed by her daughters and son-in-laws, Barbara and Tony D’Agostino of Billerica, Francine and Frank Noonan of Malden and her son, Robert Visconti of Everett. Rose was “Nana” to six grandchildren and their spouses, Mark D’Agostino and wife, Susan, Michele DeChristophoro and husband, Franny, Stacey Spinale and husband, Joe, Shaun Noonan and wife, Ketty, Kelly Noonan and husband, Justus, Jaden Visconti and special friend of Michele Gouveia. She was “Nanny” to seven great-grandchildren, Joshua, Nicole, Madison, Gianna, Marina, Kaylee and Joey. Rose will also be missed by her many adoring nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Salvatore Rocco and Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main St, EVERETT on Wednesday, Feb. 17 at 9 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Anthony Church, Everett at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours are Tuesday only 3-7 p.m. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden. Complimentary valet parking will be available at the funeral home Tuesday.
