So very sorry to learn of Mildred's passing. Condolences to her family. Mildred and Frank were dear friends of my late parents, Elena and Aurelius. When their husbands passed, Mildred and Elena spent many hours together. Mildred taught my mother to play Scrabble, and each one delighted in winning. They always had a good time together, often laughing like kids. I will carry a warm memory of Mildred with me.

Nancy, Paul, Linda,
I am so sorry to learn of your mother's death. She and my mother had a truly lifelong friendship, a relationship that I know was treasured by my mother.
I always admired Mildred's zest for life, and when dementia robbed Mom of her ability to relate to people, Mildred and I shared many long conversations, all of which were a great comfort to me during a very difficult time.
Please know that I am holding you and your families in my thoughts during this difficult time.
Sincerely,
Joanie

So sorry to read of Mildred's passing. She and Frank were wonderful friends of Rill and Elena. Of course Mildred became even closer when the husbands passed away. We all loved to hear Mildred's jokes and hear her laugh. The Matteras will miss her. MM
