(Marchione) Of Everett on August 29. Age 100. Born in Prezza, Abruzzi, Italy. Beloved wife of the late Leonardo. Mother of Antonio and his wife Olga of Everett, Domenic and his wife RoseAnn of Phoenix, AZ and the late Giuseppe. Sister of Tomaso Marchione and Sarafina DiMassa both of Italy, pre-deceased by 7 other siblings. Also survived by 6 grandchildren, Lucia and her husband Alesandro, Teresa, Leonard, Laura and her husband Solomon, Richard, Angela and 2 great-grandchildren, Matteo and Marco. Funeral from the Salvatore Rocco & Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main St., EVERETT, Wed., September 3 at 9. A Funeral Mass will be held in the Immaculate Conception Church, Everett, at 10. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Tues. 4-8. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lucia's memory may be made to the American Cancer Association, N.E. Region, 43 Nagog Park, Suite 110, Acton, MA 01720-3426. Interment will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Lucia loved to share stories and sing songs about her hometown of Prezza and she never missed the daily Mass on Catholic TV. Her family credits her longevity to her hearty appetite and her afternoon snacks of candy and chocolates. Complimentary valet parking will be available at funeral home during Tuesday's wake.
