CASSIDY, Kevin J. Of Melrose, on January 21 at age 68 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Beloved former husband of Geraldine of Stoneham. Father of Kevin and his wife Kate of Danvers and Patrick and Ryan both of Stoneham. Brother of Jack and Paul both of FL. Also survived by several neices, nephews and many many friends. Funeral from the Salvatore Rocco and Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main St, EVERETT, Monday Jan. 27 at 8:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Patricks Church, Stoneham at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours will be Sunday 2-6 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations in Kevin's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society , 9 Riverside Rd, Weston, MA 02493 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital , 501 St. Judes Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Interment will be in the Lindenwood Cemetery Stoneham. Kevin was a late member and past President of the Chelsea Teachers Union and taught in Chelsea for 35 years. Complimentary valet parking will be available at funeral home during Sunday's wake.
