I was very sad to hear of Louise's passing. She was a wonderful person, always thinking of others and eager to lend a hand when needed. My aunt, Alice Harrington, was fortunate to call her friend, as was I. She will be missed.

I am so sorry for your families loss. I will miss her daily phone calls to just check in that always ended with a "Luv Ya"! She always asked how my son was even though she had never met him. Always had a calendar or some little item to pass on to cheer up your day. She cared for so many, such a big heart. She was truly a diamond in the rough and loved by so many!

My Boston healthcare for the homeless for the past 12 years. She was so feisty and passionate about our cause. I'm going to miss our discussions in the lobby in Washington DC. May God allow her to rest in paradise.....

I am so sorry for your loss. I personally will miss seeing Louise, feeling her passion and energy, laughing with her about the silly things in life, and always having her express interest in little details in my own life. She is one of those souls who make a permanent impression, one that reminds me to live big and enjoy others. Her loss creates a hole at BHCHP and in many hearts.

Louise was my patient for 14 years! When I became her physician back then, Louise already had her life on the right track. The one thing I can take credit for is that I recommended she look into becoming a member of the Consumer Advisory Board at Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program. That role proved to be a great fit for Louise. Her energy, devotion to her causes, and concern for others was an inspiration for many, including this physician. I will greatly miss her presence.
