GIRARDI, Michael Of Laconia, NH, formerly of Everett, passed away on Aug. 30. Born in Brisbane, Australia. He was raised in both Italy & Everett. Father of Sam Jewell of Saugus. Son of Lina (Servodio) and the late Giuseppe. Brother of Maria Shapiro and her husband David of Framingham and Silvana White and her husband Joseph of Salem. Also survived by 2 nephews and 1 niece, Jacob Shapiro and Valentina and Joseph White. Funeral from the Salvatore Rocco & Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main St., EVERETT, Thurs., Sept. 5 at 9. Funeral Mass St. Anthony Church, Everett at 10. Interment to follow at Bayside Cemetery, Laconia, NH. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Weds. 4-8. Michael was the late owner and proprietor of Nadia's Restaurant in Laconia, NH. Complimentary valet parking will be available at funeral home Weds. evening.

Mike left this earth far too soon, and those of us who had the privilege to call him friend are blessed with the memories of time spent with him. His spirit will live on in our hearts forever. May he rest in everlasting peace, with the knowledge that he was respected and deeply loved. Our hearts are broken at the loss of our dearest friend, and we extend our deepest condolences to his family, and to all whose lives he touched and who are grieving.

There are so many great things to say about Mike. I had the pleasure of knowing him for over the past 4 years. I don't think that I have ever laughed so hard being around him when he told a funny story. He surely will be missed by so many. Gone but never forgotten.

To the family of Michael,
What a very special soul Michael is. To say he is charismatic is to underestimate the man. He made "nice-nice" part of Jeannie's vocabulary and he always made sure to give a hearty hello and would make you laugh within the first 10 minutes of seeing him. What a special gift.
He is a part of Laconia. A good part. We hope you are comforted by the support of friends and family at this very trying time. I think we were all stunned. May God's peace be with you all.

I miss you like a brother, words can not explain the emptyness I feel and the sadness in my heart without you. Your legendary stories will live on in my heart and mind for ever.
I'll miss " Call from - Cell Phone NH " on a daily basis and we got to get us some possium shanks and chicken lips for the grill, million dollar view and all of the other "Mike is ums"

Mike. I met you when i was 6 years old and my family brought me to Nadia's restaurant. I wrote a story for you when i was about 10 for you and you hung it on the wall in the restaurant. i felt so special. you were such an amazing man and you gave me such good advice and guidance. i feel horrible that i hadnt been able to see you for a few years but ive always remembered you and youve always had a huge impact on my life and also helped me with making better decisions. you will always be missed and i will always hold you in the highest regards and i miss you terribly. thank you for everything youve done for me and my family. <3
