MALTESE, Salvatore "Sal" Of Everett on April 2nd. Beloved husband of the late Josephine (La Grassa). Father of Janis Schelfhaudt and her husband Mark of Tewksbury. Brother of Angie Nicoli, Tina Suravian, the late Ann Sciascia, Josephine Montemagno and Mary Stirrat. Also survived by 2 grandchildren Erica and Alex, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Salvatore Rocco & Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main St., EVERETT, Saturday, April 6th at 9:30. Funeral Mass in the Our Lady of Grace Church, Everett at 10:30. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Friday 4-8. In lieu of flowers donations in Mr. Maltese's memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Late W.W. II Navy veteran. Complimentary valet parking will be available at funeral home Friday evening.

Janis,
I was saddened to hear of your dad's passing. I have many fond memories of both of your parents. Their great friendship with my parents, guitar lessons for my dad, and of course Richard and I living at Woodlawn Street so many years ago. You are in my thoughts during this difficult time.
