Peter was a great guy and a true friend to Stevie and his family. He was a hoot at the Museum and a gracious host at his home who made my husband's day by letting him run his trains. He will be missed by us all.

Peter was a talented modeler, avid railfan, lover of streetcars and always had an open door to his home. I'll miss his kind words of advice, picking his brain, and enjoying dinner with him from time to time. I'm grateful for the help he gave me in starting my transportation career. And I'll never forget the time he barbequed my Cinnamon Bun because he thought it would taste better that way. My prayers and thoughts are with his family and friends. Rest in peace old friend.

Peter, sorry to hear the news. Always ebjoyed your phone calls to discuss model trolleys, Seashore and the MBTA. You always had a good perspective on things. I didn't realize a few weeks ago when I last spoke to you that that would be last time. Rest in Peace my friend, Kevin

I had the great honour to work with Mr.Peter Bruno for 25 years at the MBTA. Mr. Bruno was always a most professional employee with me at the MBTA and after we retired. Mr. Bruno helped many people on and off the job. May the Good Lord bless you and grant you everlasting peace.

To Laura and family: Peter was a long time acquaintance and trolley modeler going back to the 1960s. I met him at the Seashore Trolley Museum when he was working on his favorite streetcar, #5821. Fortunately for the museum, his efforts preserved the car so it could be completely restored. He used to come into the hobby shop and spend quality time there with many of his fellow modelers. Over the years, he changed vocations and became an MBTA streetcar motorman. All the while he maintained his interest in models and the museum. Once, I had the privilege of meeting your mother on the one occasion I visited his Everett home. She delighted me with her piano repertoire which was amazing considering her age. Peter was a very tender caregiver which I will never forget. He inspired me and was a model I could emulate when my own mother needed end of life care. May God welcome him home and grant him peace. May God grant you all consolation and comfort at this time.
