Dax Archer Canton was born to Nicolas Canton and Renee McKain on Thursday, 7/12/12 at 11:06AM. Dax passed into eternal glory on Thursday, 12/20/12 at 12:53AM. He was born at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. Tufts Medical Center was also Dax's place of passing.
Dax was taken from us very suddenly. In his short time on this Earth, he touched the hearts of many. He truly had a special way about him. Dax's smile was warm and pure. It could melt the hardest of hearts. We felt that we were being given a gift every time we were lucky enough to receive one of those precious smiles. He was truly a delight at all times.
Dax had such a fondness for the Thomas and Friends TV show. He would sit in his favorite swing and his little face would light up the moment that he heard the theme music. He had been recently introduced to bananas and he absolutely loved them. He had also become fully aware of his feet and would not miss an opportunity to play with them or to try and pull his socks off. He was a studious little character. He would sit and quietly watch his parents or closely examine his hands.
Dax is survived by his parents and a multitude of family and friends. It is our hope that Dax was able to touch you all as he touched us and that his pure heart, spirit and soul will forever live on.

I read this and thought of Dax.
"These are my footprints,

Dear Renee, Nick & extended family members,
"THE LORD bless you and keep you: THE LORD make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you. THE LORD lift up his face upon you and give you peace." Numbers 6:24-26. As you know, 8 yrs. ago, Rudy and I have been where you are emotionally, so I feel your pain, sorrow and anguish. It is the worst place to be as a parent.
However, our children are gifts and blessings for the time that they remain on this earth. We were so thrilled to meet Dax, our adopted grandson, that the memories will stay in our hearts until the end of our time here on this earthly plain. We hope that Dave saw him coming and welcomed him into the spiritual world....two angels soaring in the heavens.

Dax, even though I haven't had the amazing chance to meet you, I watch as your grew through pictures and video's that were posted by your Mom and Dad. You always brought a smile to my face with every new picture that was put up. You have touched my heart in so many ways. May the Lord bless and Keep you.
Nicolas and Renee, my heart, thoughts and prayers are with you both in this very difficult time. May you both find your strength through family and God.
