Battaglia, Samuel Samuel “Nick Lutz” Battaglia, of Saugus, formerly of Everett passed away on January 8. Samuel worked as an insurance agent for Liberty Mutual in Everett and as the head painter for Brookline Sears Catalog store. He was the beloved husband of the late Pauline Mandracchia. Samuel was the father of Patricia, of Saugus, owner of Patti-Cake Day Care Center. He was the brother of Dominic of Arlington and the late John, Joseph and Mary Waters. He is also survived by three grandchildren Andrew, Andrea and Stephen. The funeral will be Saturday at 9 am at Salvatore Rocco & Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main Street, Everett followed by a prayer service at 10:30 am. also at the funeral home. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery. Relatives and friends invited.
