THOMPSON, Alice E. (Maynard) Of Everett, on August 4, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Ronald Thompson.  Devoted mother of James and wife Gail of Virginia, David and wife Steliane of Holden, Doris and husband Ken of Utah, Joseph and wife Mary of Nashua, John of Everett, Matthew and wife Ilda of Lynn. Cherished  grandmother of Jessica, William, Elias, Nicholas, Ronald, Jareth, Tyler, Nathan and Sara.

Alice was a true Everett girl. Born in Everett in 1931, she remained in the city her entire life.  After graduation, Alice started her working life as a bookkeeper and later worked at various food establishments in the city to support her family, notably Vargi’s Diner, and she was also on the original crew of the first Dunkin Donuts in Everett. Later in life Alice pursued a career in the medical field working as a nurse’s aide at the Woodlawn Manor Nursing home and ultimately achieving her LPN designation.

A private remembrances will be held at the convenience of the family.
