McCARTHY, Lynn J. (Sherman) Of Everett on October 29, 2016. Former wife of William F. McCarthy Jr. Loving mother of Kelly McCarthy and the late Christopher P. McCarthy. Adored grandmother of Olivia L. Bryson. Sister of Paul and his wife Roberta Sherman of NH. Aunt of Michael Sherman of CA. Also survived by her prized cat "Kitty". Funeral from the Salvatore Rocco & Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main St., EVERETT, on Thursday November 3rd at 8:30 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Anthony Church, Everett, at 9:30 a.m. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours Wednesday only 4-8 p.m. Complimentary valet parking at Main Street entrance. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the MSPCA Animal Care and Adoption Center, 350 S. Huntington Ave, Jamaica Plain, MA 02130. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Lynn is a former employee of A.W. Chesterton where she worked for 28 years.
