Charles A. Grinnen IV passed away on January 7, 2021 at the Rouse Home in Youngsville, PA. He was born on July 12, 1967 in Warren to Charles A. Grinnen III and Nancy M. Grinnen. Chuckie, as we called him, was our first child and he was a wonderful blessing. He was our only child for five years and we enjoyed him so very much. I think God knew he was not going to be with me and passed away too soon. His father passed away almost seven years before Chuckie died. I know they are in Heaven with our Lord. Chuckie was a standout wrestler during his high school years, earning a sixth place medal at the PIAA tournament his senior year. He graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 1990 with a degree in Communications. After College, he served in the United States Navy. He was a veteran of Operation Desert Storm. He is survived by his mother, Nancy M. Grinnen of Warren; brothers Scott C. Grinnen and wife Jodi of Spring Hill, FL; James L. Grinnen and wife Rowena of York, PA; nephew Toby Grinnen of Riverview, FL; nieces Lacey Grinnen of Spring Hill, FL and Leda Grinnen of York, PA. He also loved his cousin Missy very much. He is also survived by his wife Bonnie Grinnen and sons, Charles Grinnen V and Alexi M. Grinnen, all of Warren. He was preceded in death by his father Charles A. Grinnen III, his grandparents Carl and Ruth Culbertson and Charles and Helen Grinnen, and his sweet Aunt Carolee. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. To the family of Chuck,
I was saddened to hear that Chuck had passed away. I am so sorry for your loss. I was an aide at the Rouse Home for a few years and Chuck was one of my favorite residents. I always tried to put a smile on his face and we had some good conversations. I will miss him!

I am so sorry for your loss.
I was very fortunate enough wrestle at time where in Warren County was loaded with great light weights. Competing again him and the others made me a better wrestler. Chuck was one of Warren County's best. He was a rival that became a friend. I will lift a glass in his memory. God Bless!

I am so very sorry for your loss. Chuckie is part of some of my fondest high school memories. My friends and I would get together with him and the boys from Prospect street for various adventures. Chuckie's humor and spirit made every adventure better.
My deepest condolences to you and your family
