Donald Wayne Elliott, 47, of Shelbyville died Saturday, April 16, 2011, at his residence.

Born March 18, 1964, in Shelbyville, he was the son of William Elliott Jr. and Barbara (Stafford) Elliott.

Survivors include his mother of Shelbyville; sons, Michael Gilbert and William Elliott; daughters, Jasmine Clouse and Heather Elliott; brothers, James (wife, Ruth) Elliott and Billy (wife, Patricia) Elliott, both of Shelbyville; sisters, Rose (husband, Charles) Pratt of Mississippi, Sue (husband, Danny) Brown of Brown County and Diana Nickolson of Shelbyville; and best friend, Betty Krueger of Shelbyville.

He was preceded in death by his father; a brother, David Elliott; and a son, Donald Elliott Jr.

Mr. Elliott had been a construction worker and a painter.

He attended Hope's Point Church.

Donald enjoyed fishing, drawing and painting.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service and Crematory, 703 S. Harrison St.

Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Edwin Mohr officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Donald W. Elliott Memorial Fund in care of Murphy-Parks Funeral Service.

Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St., is serving the Elliott family.

My condolences to Donnie family. Cherish the memories of the times you had together. I have known Donnie since I was a child. He was a friend of my cousin Todd''''s. They are now in Heaven together looking down upon us.
