 Patricia J. Mandrell, 83, of Plainfield, passed away Thursday, October 31, 2019 at St. Vincent Hospice.

  She was born March 13, 1936, in Indianapolis, to Russell Morford and Ellen Mae (Wren) Morford.

  She was married to Jim Willey, and he preceded her in death on October 10, 1995.  She then married Willie Mandrell on October 31, 1996, and he survives.

  Mrs. Mandrell is also survived by her children, Patsy (Harold) McCammon of Greenfield; Lynn (Dana) Luce of Washington; Kathy Staker of Shelbyville; Don Willey of Indianapolis; Melinda Clouse of Greensburg; and Shawn (Misty) Willey of Danville; 15 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.

    She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, and 3 sisters.

    Mrs. Mandrell was a homemaker.  Shopping was her pastime.  Her most cherished times were spent with family, especially family cookouts.

  Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to Noon, Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176.

  Funeral services will follow at Noon at the funeral home with Pastor Andy Lee officiating.

  Burial will be in Bennett Cemetery beside Jim.                         

  Funeral Directors, Greg Parks, Sheila Parks, and Stuart Parks are honored to serve Mrs. Mandrell’s family.

So sorry for the loss of Aunt Patty. She was the last of the Morford Clan. It is a sad day for her family. I will miss calling her.

May she rest in peace but I know her and her sisters are all up their rejoicing together with the rest of the bygone family who are gone but not forgotten.

Kathy-Donnie- Am so sorry to read about your mom's passing she was a wonderful woman growing up she treated all of us kids like we were her own. She will be missed by many I'm sure.
