Jan and I are deeply saddened with the passing of my student, player and friend. Patrick was a driving force for the “ DarkSide” defense of 1984! He will always hold a Special place in my Heart! Peace to you, Patrick! You were a “ special” warrior!!

I am so sad to hear about Pat. I met Pat at the FIJI house at IU thru Blake Burgan. After college, Pat moved to Kokomo and we became really good friend. Pat was in my wedding party in 1998. When Pat moved to Raleigh we still remained close. I had some fun trips visiting him in Raleigh, memories that will last a lifetime. Pat loved Pizza King pizza and Cardovas Chocolates from Kokomo. Several times I would send him 2 large pepperoni frozen pizzas overnight and Cardovas every Christmas, so he could enjoy them in NC. I'm so glad I was able to spend time with Pat when he moved back in July, he even got to go and watch my son Jace play in his last Baseball tournament In Indianapolis. Pat was a friend for life, probably one of the funniest friends I've ever had. I'm going to really miss him !! Prayers for all of Pats family, Jim Rayl and Family

I am truly saddened to hear this news. Pat and I went from elementary school through high school and graduated at the same time. He was a great person to know and always the life of the party. Although I had not seen him in years, I frequently thought of him and smiled. Farewell, my friend, I will see you again one day.
