Our heart and prayers goes out to the family, friends, classmates and entire Waldron community for the loss of such a great young man. We had the oppurtinty to see Jacob as the Waldron Mascot. Both my children knew him well as my daighter was on the cheer squad with his adoring sister. Heaven and Dillion has talked greatly about James and how full of life he was. How he loved everyone and how he adored his sister Abby. There are no words to describe how the Waldron community and our surrounding areas feel right now for such a tragic loss of a wonderful young man. We always loved to see him as the mascot at the games he was so fulll of energy and stood proud for Waldron. He will be greatly missed our thoughts are prayers are with you all.

My son competed against him when he was a Jr/Sr and Jacob was a Freshman/Soph and knew he gave Ben a run for his money - even having pictures of them running side by side at Sectionals that Ben had me lookup as he knew he was always at his side when competing! Such a talented kid who was a fierce and worthy competitor. Always enjoyed cheering him on even though he was on a different team as he gained everyone's respect. Remember his always having a big smile on his face over the past many years that we ran against Waldron, seemed to love life and loved running. Many prayers go out to Jacob's family, friends and his running family. Our Monrovia XC family send our prayers and heartfelt condolences to everyone in Waldron that were touched by this very talented young man.

Thomas is like family to us and we are deeply saddened to hear of his loss. We have heard stories of how spectacular of an athlete Jacob was and more than that, how great of a young man he had became. Thomas always had a glow in his face when he is about to fly home to see Jacob compete. A glow only a proud and loving father would have. That was a testament to how great of a person Jacob was. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time.

You don't know me, but I have heard nothing but good things about your son. He is such a Handsome, Talented young man. My heart breaks for you. I lost a baby boy when he was 4 months old. I know how hard that was. I pray Jesus wraps his arms around you and gives you peace. One blessing is that you will see him again in Heaven. Prayers for you.

Shelley, Brian and family,
We offer you our deepest sympathy in the loss of Jacob. Our prayers go out to you and hope they help to ease some of the pain you are no doubt experiencing. We enjoyed watching Jacob at track and cross country events. It always amazed me how he never seemed to be tired at the end of a race. I also enjoyed watching him at basketball games where he could get the students cheering and excited. He did a great job as the Mohawk mascot as the teams were warming up. That's probably the only time where I didn't see a smile on his face as he seriously watched the other team during warm ups! He will be greatly missed by us and all who knew him.

Sending love and prayers to you all of you during this difficult time. Asking our God to provide each of you with comfort and peace that transcends all understanding.
We are a Cross Country family from Carmel. Our son, Will, ran in the Nike Twilight meet with Jacob. I have a photo if the top five on stage, which of course, includes Jacob.
Will will honor Jacob today at the Semi-state meet in Shelbyville. Again, so incredibly sorry for your loss.

To the family: While I never met nor knew Jacob, I saw his picture and wanted to find out more about the death of such a fine
young man. Reading of his many accomplishments makes me wish I had the opportunity to meet him. May those many accomplishments in his short life continue to provide solace and comfort to you.
