  Lonnie Darril Anders, 69, of Shelbyville, passed away, Sunday, September 22, 2019 at St. Francis Hospital.

  He was born March 9, 1950, in London, KY to Shellie Anders and Lula (Alsip) Foster.

  On November 2, 1968, he married Connie Sue (Sheppherd) Anders, and she survives.

  He is also survived by his daughters, Tina Miller (Graydon) of Shelbyville; Janice Elder (Leon) of St. Paul; his son Lonnie Allen Anders of Shelbyville; his grandchildren, Megan Miller, Sarah Miller, Elizabeth Miller, Cindy Anders, Jennifer Neth, Nathan Anders and Jordan Gossett; his great-grandchildren, Landen Taggart, Grant Taggart, Liam Neth, Mason Neth and Alayna Neth; his sister, Leona Craig (Jesse) of Shelbyville; and many nieces and nephews.

  He was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters, Phyllis Buster and Sue Pursley; and his brothers, Herman Anders and Kenny Anders.

  Lonnie was employed at St. Paul Stone for over 40 years.  He enjoyed being outdoors, mowing the yard and fishing.  His other hobbies included reading and doing crossword puzzles.  His most precious times were spent with family and friends.

  Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Thursday, September 26, 2019 at Murphy-Parks Funeral Services, 703 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville, IN 46176.

  Funeral services follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Dr. Robb Barlow officiating.

  Burial will be in Whispering Hope Memorial Gardens and Crematory.

  Memorial donations may be given to Murphy-Parks Funeral Services for the Lonnie Anders Memorial Fund.

  Funeral Directors, Greg Parks, Sheila Parks, and Stuart Parks are honored to serve the Anders family.
