To the loved ones, family and friends of Mike Lee,

I don’t remember when I first met Mike. It was probably in 1960 when three of the local schools were consolidated into Southwestern. What I do recall is that somehow one day he showed up in my life. He wasn’t big in stature, but he had a sort of aura about him that made him stand out. We had each come from one of three small schools and were now anxious about surviving in our new class of over 60 students. Mike was constant. Nothing ever seemed to shake him. He was bright. He generally grasped the more difficult subjects better than many of his classmates. He was a kind and gentile spirit, always positive. My life is better for having known him. Although I have not seen him since our graduation, from time to time I have visited with him through the pages of our yearbook. He still has that special aura. When I see his picture, I smile.

May your memories of him bring you comfort.

To Mike's family and Theresa,

I am so sorry we lost Mike way too early. I looked forward to seeing Mike with Theresa whenever our classmates would get together through the recent years. Remembering Mike at our recent SWHS All-Class Reunion holds a special memory of Mike for me.... his quiet manner and friendly smile.
Rosie
