  San Juanita “Janie” Lee, 60, of Shelbyville, passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at St. Francis Hospital.

  She was born November 21, 1958 in Brownfield, TX to Paulino Rivera, Jr and Petra (Cabrera) Rivera.

  On July 6, 1981, she married Patrick A. Lee and he survives.

  Janie is also survived by her parents of Hidalgo, Texas; daughter Crystal Lee of Greenfield; grandson, Brayden Rodgers, step-daughters, Jennifer Deiser of Lafayette and Stacey Churchill of CA; siblings Gloria Resendiz, Delia Tagle, Paulino Rivera III, Ruben Rivera, Guadalupe Rivera, Oralia Rivera, Ester Rivera, Alfredo Rivera, Lydia Rivera and Cynthia Rivera.

  She loved plants and flowers.  She enjoyed going to rummage sales and cooking.  She also loved doing homework with her grandson.  She enjoyed the 20 years she spent working at Plastic Molding.      Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

   Visitation will be from Noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Murphy-Parks Funeral Services, 703 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville, IN 46176.

  A Celebration of Life will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Andy Lee officiating.

  Burial will be in Hidalgo Cemetery in Hidalgo, TX.

  Funeral Directors, Greg, Sheila, and Stuart Parks are honored to serve the Rivera and Lee families.

Pat, I'm so sorry to hear of Janie's passing, I didn't even know she had been in failing health.

There are no words, really, to express the sudden loss of Juanita. I’ve only had a year to work and get to know her at PMC and I am so glad I have gotten the privilege to have met her. She was a hard working, hard loving family woman who’s smile brightened each day there! I will forever miss her! My prayers are with her family in this time!
