Mrs. Romilda (Millie) Berger, who turned 91 this past Friday, passed away peacefully on July 30th in Waldron. Millie was a lifelong resident of Shelbyville, and was a lifelong faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

She was united in holy matrimony to Howard F (Butch) Berger, who preceded her in death in 1995.

Her Christian life was as beautiful as the flowers that she loved so well, and her influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her.

Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of  her children: Kathy Creech of Shelbyville, Ron Berger and his wife Kathleen of Houston, TX, Rita Berger Johnson and her husband Ric of Burleson, TX, Tim Berger of Martinsville, IN, and Ken Berger and his wife Karen of Shelbyville. She will also be missed by her eleven grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren (along with two great grandchildren that are both due in December. I'd bet that by now, Millie has stopped by the nursery in Heaven and introduced herself and Butch to them)

Heaven has truly gained an Angel

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, August 5, 2019 at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 125 E. Broadway St., Shelbyville, IN. with Father Mike Keucher officiating.

Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
