Jeffrey E. Shephard, 40, of Shelbyville, passed away Friday, July 26, 2019 at Franciscan Health in Indianapolis.

  He was born October 7, 1978 in Franklin, IN to Dallas E. and Wanda (Johnson) Shephard.

  Jeffrey is survived by his mother, sons, Joshua Shephard and Timothy Shephard, sisters, Tammy Phares and Gina Evans, all of Shelbyville, 4 nieces and 3 nephews, and his dog, Daisy, who was his companion for 16 years.

 Jeffrey was employed at Culpepper Wood Preserve.  He was looking forward to his first grandbaby due in March 2020.  Jeffrey was always a great protector of his family.  He enjoyed working on his truck, bowling and swimming.  He was always listening to country music.

  His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family.

     Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, August 1, 2019 at Murphy-Parks Funeral Services, 703 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville, IN 46176.

  Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Johnathan Redd officiating.

  Burial will be in Whispering Hope Memorial Gardens and Crematory.

  Memorial contributions may be made to Murphy-Parks Funeral Services to help with funeral expenses.

  Funeral Directors, Greg Parks, Sheila Parks, and Stuart Parks are honored to serve the Shephard family.

I didn't know Jeff Long, but The guy I got the privilege of starting to get to know, But he Was a Very Big Hearted, People Loving person. He would do anything for anyone, And not even have to know them at all. We've lost another God Send by Losing you, And you Will be missed. And To Jeff's family, I am So very sorry for your loss, and may GOD give u peace and comfort in these hard times, ... R.I.P. Jeff && FLY HIGH BUDDY!!!!

jeff was a great part of my family he will be missed all i have is memories not as many as some we love u and nothing will take that away RIP we will see u again gone to soon
