Annetta Kay Hoops, 76, of Indianapolis, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2019 at Altenheim Nursing Home in Indianapolis.

  She was born July 31, 1942 in Indianapolis to Chester and Helen (Downey) Meeks.

  She is survived by her daughter, Angela (Randy) Byers of Greenwood; grandson, Andrew Blake Chanley of Franklin; great-granddaughter, Amelia Mae Chanley; sisters, Deanna Nickells, Cindy Williams, and Linda Kasel; brothers, Dave Williams and Timothy Williams.

   She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Nancy Carson.

   Annetta was a retired account executive with Phillip Morris.  She enjoyed working out at the YMCA everyday.  She had a love for dogs.  Her greatest joy was her great-granddaughter, Amelia.

   Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m., Friday, May 3, 2019 at Murphy-Parks Funeral Services, 703 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville, IN 46176.

  Burial will be in Whispering Hope Memorial Gardens.
