Pat and his brother Mike were the nearest neighbors and close friends for my brother, Jim, and me, all the years we were growing up in the 1940's and early 50's. We shared thousands of kid experiences, from small to significant. We lost touch after I moved away and hadn't talked for decades, but those childhood memories have always been part of me. My sympathy, thoughts and good wishes for Pat's family and loved ones.
