  B. Craig Griffith, 49, of Fairland, passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at his residence.

  He was born August 6, 1969 in Shelbyville to Thomas and Sharon (Crafton) Griffith.

  He is survived by his sisters, Tammy Griffith; Shelly (Dallas) Sparks; and Kelley Griffith, all of Boggstown; nephews, Jared Sparks and Nikolas Sparks, niece, Abigail Sparks, and his two dogs, Penelope and Rocky.

   He was preceded in death by his parents.

   Craig graduated from Triton Central High School in 1988.  He continued his education at Marian University where he received a BA in History and Education, graduating in 1992.  He later earned his MS Ed in Curriculum Instruction from Walden University in 2010.

  He was an advocate for education and received many awards and certifications for his vocation.

  He was a sports fan and enjoyed watching IU and the Colts play.  He was a basketball coach at Furman Middle School in South Carolina.

  Private services will be observed.

  Funeral Directors, Greg, Sheila, and Stuart Parks are honored to serve the Griffith family.
