  Brian Scott Meredith, 34, of Manilla, passed away, Saturday, October 13, 2018 at his residence.

  He was born February 3, 1984 in Shelbyville. Brian is survived by his mother and step-father, Peggy and Daniel Dixon; father Kyle Meredith (partner, Lori Groves); son, Jaylen Meredith, sister, Angela Hood, brother, Kenneth Meal II, brother, Kristopher Meal, sister, Kylie Meredith, brother, Allen Jeffery Dixon, sister, Ashley Ilene Hood and maternal grandmother, Rita Smith.

  Brian was a self-employed handyman in electronic repairs.

  He had a great sense of humor and was always willing to give a helping hand to everyone.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

  Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 18th at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176.  A memorial service will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

  Memorial contributions may be given to the American Heart Association/Midwest Regional Office, 6500 Technology Drive, Suite 100, Indianapolis, IN 46278.

 Funeral Directors, Greg, Sheila, and Stuart Parks are honored to serve the Meredith family.

I only met Brian once, a couple of years ago. Such a nice guy. So sorry for the family's loss.

Brian, I have fond memories of you! Remember the time we were broke down with two other people and waited on AAA for TWO days?!? LOL. Good times. Man, you will be missed terribly! Until we meet again you will be in my thoughts and prayers ❤
