Charles W. ‘Charlie’ Scroggham, 62, of Shelbyville, passed away Saturday, October 6, 2018 at St. Francis Hospital.
He was born October 30, 1955 in Shelbyville to Charles A. and Edith (Myers) Scroggham. Charlie married Jenny (Smith) Scroggham on October 18, 1985 and she survives.
He is also survived by his daughter, Angie Knight, granddaughter, Josie Wells, daughter, Amy Thompson, all of Shelbyville, and nephew, William (wife, Kirsten) Aulby of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters.
Charlie was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of the American Legion and Eagle Riders Post #766. He enjoyed going for rides on his motorcycle. His most precious times were spent fishing, hunting, and spending time with his granddaughter and his two best friends, Notorious and Tubby.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to Noon on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176. Funeral services will follow at Noon at the funeral home with the Reverend Harvey Weaver officiating.
Burial will be in Miller Cemetery with full military rites conducted by local veterans organizations.
