Marlon Ray Davis, 56, of Shelbyville passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at his residence.
He was born July 16, 1962 in Pascagoula, Mississippi, the son of Willie Claude Davis Jr., and Janice (Harrell) Eiland.
Marlon is survived by his mother of Lake, Mississippi; daughters, Natasha Taylor of Alabama, Miranda Cruse of Grand Bay, Alabama, Jenna Cruse of Shelbyville, Brittney Cruse of Indianapolis, Brandi Sexton of Mobile, Alabama and Haley Pruitt of Franklin; son, Shane Cruse of Hope; the love of his life, Rose Powers of Shelbyville; sister, Sherronda Maggard of Lake, Mississippi; mother of children, Michelle Davis, and 27 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father and sister Renee Maggard.
Marlon owned his own construction company.
He was a member of the National Rifle Association.
Marlon enjoyed hunting, fishing, NASCAR racing, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was an avid Alabama football fan, Roll Tide.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to Noon on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176. Services will follow at Noon at the funeral home with Reverend Keith Dover officiating.
Burial will be in Serenity Gardens in Mobile, Alabama.
