  Dolores Vasotros Amores Morgan, 72, of Shelbyville, passed away, Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Franciscan Health Campus.

  She was born April 17, 1946 to Anastacio Pardoncillo Amores Lapu-Lopu and Frlomina Voso Amores in Maigo Lanao Del Norte, Philippines.  She married Ret. Lt. Commander William R. Morgan on January 17, 1971 and he preceded her in death on June 19, 2012.

  She is survived by her son Rick (Tricia) Morgan; daughter, April (Ed) Parker, Jr; grandchildren Hailey Morgan, Morgan Parker, and Emily Parker, sister, Ehley Tabligan, sisters-in-law, Macia Tackett, Debbie Ayler; and brothers-in-law, Rick Handlon, and Jimmy Morgan.

  Mrs. Morgan attended nursing school in the Philippines.  She enjoyed bowling, cooking and riding horses.  Her greatest joys circled around her family and their activities.

  Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, June 29, 2018 at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN.

  Services will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, June 30, 2018 at the funeral home.

  Burial will be in Whispering Hope Memorial Gardens.

  Memorial contributions may be made to the Dolores Morgan funeral fund in care of the funeral home.

  Funeral Directors, Greg, Sheila, and Stuart Parks are honored to serve the Morgan family.

She has no pain or suffering, such a sweet and caring lady. She took such good care of Bill. My thoughts and prayers are to the family
