  Betty Anderson, 88, of Rushville,  passed away Friday, June 8, 2018 at her residence.

  She was born August 8, 1929 in Shelbyville to Raymond and Irene (Richardson) Brown.

She is survived by her sons, Richard (Karlene) Donica of Carmel; Matthew Donica of Rushville; and Mark (Debbie) Donica of Columbus; daughters, Trish (Mark) Martin of TX; and Susan Stutts of Rushville; several grandchildren, brother Robert Brown, and sister, Imogene Welch.

  She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Edith Walker.

  Betty was a member of Little Flat Rock Creek Church.

  She enjoyed painting, creating ceramics, knitting and crocheting.  Her greatest joy was being with her kids and her family.

  Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville. 

  Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at the funeral home.

  Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.

  Funeral Directors Greg, Sheila, and Stuart Parks are honored to serve Betty’s family.

I'm sorry to hear about Betty's passin g hadn't seen her in years, but she was always on my mind especially since we all are getting older, wish I had the chance to have spoken to her before her death
