 Pauline M. Schuler, 93, of Shelbyville, passed away, Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Ashford Place Health Campus.

  She was born December 16, 1924, in Evansville, IN to Fred and Susanna (Wolf) Batteiger.

  Mrs. Schuler is survived by her daughters, Debby Hart of Shelbyville, Bonnie Schuler of Ft. Worth, TX and Stacey Harding of Estes Park, CO.; her granddaughter, Gina (Jamey) Lemasters-Smith; great grandson, Conner Beagle of Shelbyville; 3 grandsons and 1 granddaughter all of TX; her brother, Ralph Batteiger of Evansville; her sister, Leona Gray of Nashville, IN and dearly treasured nieces, Heather (Steve) Mollo of Nashville, IN., Kathy Tretter, nephews, James Gray of Washington and Brian Batteiger of Virginia.

  She retired from the University of Southern Indiana in 1994.  Mrs. Schuler loved the Lord Jesus Christ, reading, listening to music and animals.  She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed.

  Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville. 

  Services will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. George Mitchell officiating.

  Burial will be at 11;30 a.m. Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Alexander Memorial Park in Evansville, IN.

  Funeral Directors Greg, Sheila, and Stuart Parks are honored to serve the Schuler family.
