  Ronald M. Henderson, 83, of Shelbyville, passed away Friday, April 13, 2018 at Heritage House.

  He was born December 18, 1934 to Orville F. and Reva P. (Blaich) Henderson] in Shelbyville.  He married Patricia (Cheatham) Henderson on November 19, 1954 and she preceded him in death on September 19, 2012.

  Mr. Henderson is survived by his daughters, Lori (James) Spurgin of Clarksburg IN and Jeanne (Tony) Thompson of Virginia; daughter-in-law, Karen Henderson and son-in-law, Tom Elliott, both of Shelbyville; grandsons, Kyle Henderson, Shelbyville, and Darrell Spurgin, Clarksburg; granddaughters, Julie Thompson, Westfield, Davina (Alex) Sheckell, Palmyra, and  Erika Spurgin, Clarksburg; great-grandchildren, Jace Henderson, Carlena Sheckell, Kaylyn Sheckell; and sister, Shara Lee Henderson.

  He was preceded in death by his daughter, Deborah Elliott, son Gary Henderson and brother, Jerry Henderson.

  Mr. Henderson was a member of Bible Holiness Church.  He served as treasurer of the Church for 12 years.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and keeping up with the grandkids and their activities.

  Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday April 15, 2018 at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville 

  Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, April 16, 2018 at Bible Holiness Church, 2911 E. Michigan Road, Shelbyville, IN. 46176 with the Reverend Joseph Smith officiating.  Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.

  Funeral Directors Greg, Sheila, and Stuart Parks are honored to serve the Henderson family.

  Memorial contributions may be given to The Building Fund, in care of Bible Holiness Church.
