Charles (Eddie) Keough, Jr, 51, of Fairland passed away from a heart attack at IU Methodist Hospital on April 6, 2018.

  He was born on February 23, 1967 to Loretta Wampler and Charles E. Keough in Beech Grove, Indiana.  He graduated from Triton Central High School in 1985.  He retired from Kroger in 2004 after 19 years of service.

  He is survived by his wife, Melissa (Gilpin) Keough, sons, Ryne J. Keough, Anthony S. Keough, of Greenfield, IN; daughter, Brittni (Brandon) Cole and granddaughter, Brooklynn Marie Cole, one grandson, Gunnar Alan Cole of Shelbyville, IN.

  He is also survived by his mother and step-father, Miller Wampler of Fairland, IN; sister, Freda Harrison of Shelbyville, IN, and Cynthia (Gary) Law of Boggstown, IN; 4 nieces, 5 nephews, 2 great nieces, 2 great-nephews, also many aunts, uncles, cousins; and his best friend Bennie Cameron.

  Charles E. was preceded in death by his father Charles E. Keough, brother, Timothy J. Keough, brother-in-law, Mark Harrison and grandparents.

  He was a sports fanatic and enjoyed collecting sports card.  He loved spending time with his family and grandkids.

  Visitation will be noon to 1 p.m., Friday, April 13, 2018 at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St., and Shelbyville 

  Services will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Joseph Smith officiating.

  Burial will be in Fairland Cemetery.

  Funeral Directors Greg, Sheila, and Stuart Parks are honored to serve the Keough family.

  Memorial contributions may be given to the Charles Keough Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
