  Lisa D. (Burdine) Copas, 44, of Shelbyville, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at St. Francis South.

  She was born March 30, 1973 to Thomas W. and Marcella “Kay” (Dunn) Burdine.

Lisa is survived by her daughter, Harley Copas of Shelbyville; mother, Kay (Donald Miles) of Hope;  sister, Melissa Richardson of Fountaintown; nephews, Brendan and Ashton Richardson; boyfriend, Robert Edwards and best friend, Amy Shrader, both of Shelbyville; and her dog, Chance.

  She was preceded in death by her father, and grandparents, William and Tessie Dunn and John and Lillian Burdine.

  Lisa was a former student at Triton Central High School

She was a loving and dedicated full time Mom.  She loved swimming, fishing, being outdoors and camping.  Lisa was an avid animal lover.

  Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville. 

  Services will follow at 1 p..m. with the Reverend Bryan Justice officiating.

  Burial will be at Miller Cemetery.

  Funeral Directors Greg, Sheila, and Stuart Parks are honored to serve the Burdine Copas family.

  Memorial contributions may be given to the Shelby County Animal Shelter, 705 Hale Road, Shelbyville, IN 46176.

I am so sorry to hear about your sister. I know Brendan and Ashton loved her dearly. When they came to my house they use to talk about how they loved going to Aunt Lisa's house. You are in my prayers.
