  Bailey M. Crafton, 14, of Shelbyville, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Riley Hospital for Children.

  He was born September 1, 2003 to Clayton and Melissa (Smith) Crafton.

 Bailey is survived by his mother, Melissa (boyfriend, Brian) of Fairland); maternal grandparents, Thomas and Sherry Smith of Shelbyville; paternal grandmother, Carol Crafton of Fairland; Aunts, Shannon (Tony) Doyle; Misty (Steve) Wallace; and Susan (Rob) Boswell all of Shelbyville; Uncle Rick (Angie) Crafton of Greenfield and Clinton (Annie) Crafton of Carmel; 11 cousins; his dog, Bob and Cat, Gidgit.

   His father Clayton preceded him in death in 2014.  He was also preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents, Charles and Hazel Smith; great-uncle, Bobby Smith; and maternal great-grandparents, Clara and Mike McDowell.

    Bailey was a student at Triton Central Middle School.

    He was a member of Boggstown Presbyterian Church.  Bailey loved to ride 4-wheelers, hanging out with his friends, and going to youth group.  He shared many special times shooting guns with his Daddy.

  Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville 

  Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 22, 2018 at the funeral home with the Rev. Warren Robison officiating.

  Burial will be at Boggstown Cemetery.

    Funeral Directors Greg, Sheila, and Stuart Parks are honored to serve the Crafton family.

  Memorial contributions may be given in honor of Bailey to Riley Hospital for Children, 705 Riley Hospital Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46202.

bailey was and still is my best friend and we used to do everything togher and i am sorry for your loss malisa
