Michael Timothy Dean, 59 of Fairland, IN passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2018, at Major Hospital Shelbyville IN
Born January 23, 1959 in Beech Grove, IN, he was the son of Bernie Dean and Rosemary (Hogan) Dean.
Michael is survived by his father; sister, Melinda (Paul) Pennycuff; niece, Jennifer Dean; great-niece, Justice Dean; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, longtime companion, Cindy Darby and brother, Mark J. Dean
Michael attended Speedway and Triton Central High Schools. He was a gifted athlete in pole vaulting, football and baseball.
He enjoyed working in construction.
Visitation will be Friday, February 2, 2018 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p,m. at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville, IN.
A memorial service will follow at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home with Father Mike Keucher officiating.
