Christopher  Geiling, 57 of Shelbyville, IN passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2018, at his residence. 

  He was born on September 22, 1960 in Shelbyville, IN.  He was the son of the late Del Victor and Rose Geiling.

  Christopher is survived by his children, Merranda Geiling and Ariel Geiling both of Shelbyville, IN,  granddaughter, Rachel Nigh, best friend, Yoland Arderson; brothers, Joe Geiling, Rick Wickliff, Charles Rollo and, Mike Geiling; sisters, Kathy Duvelius, Tina Jones, and Teresa Creech, 

  Mr. Geiling was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother and 1 sister.

  Chris served in the United States Army Reserve for 17 years.   He worked the for the Shebyville City Garage as a mechanic.  His hobbies were listening to old country music and using his mechanic skills on family and friends automobilies.  He found his favorite joy spending time with his granddaughter.

  Visitation will be Tuesday, January 30, 2018 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville, IN.

  Funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home with  Reverend Seth Taylor officiating.

  Burial will be in Whispering Hope Memorial Gardens Shelbyville IN.

Donations may be given to Christopher Geiling funeral fund c/o Murphy-Parks Funeral Service.

  Funeral Directors Greg, Sheila and Stuart Parks are honored to conduct the services for Mr. Geiling.

Thoughts and Prayers sent to the family. I'm very honored to have had the pleasure to meet Chris. I have talked with Chris on many different occasions and he was always a very respectful and caring person. He will sadly be missed by many!
