Robert Leon Bryant, 86, of Shelbyville, who recently gave his life to Jesus, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at his residence.

Born August 18, 1931 in Adams County, IN. he was the son of Paul W. and Lenna (Borror) Bryant.

He was married for 37 years to Evelyn (Glesing) Bryant until she passed away in 1991.  In 1994 he married Bonnie Jean (Craig) Bryant and she survives.

He is also survived by his daughter, Susan (Mo) Wildey, of Indianapolis, sons, Gary Bryant, of Morgantown, Ron (Amy) Bryant of Vandalia, OH, step-daughter, Shannon (David) Moss of Shelbyville, step-sons, Rick (Lisa) Alexander, of Bartow, FL, Scott (Kelly) Alexander, of Indianapolis, step-daughter, Penny (David) Graham, of Shelbyville; grandchildren, Kyle, Chad, Kurt, Cole and Jordan Bryant; Erick, Sarah, Nicholas, Daniel, Bryan, Tony, and Alexandra; 5 great-grandchildren; brother, Paul Jr. Bryant, Pennville, IN and sister, Ann Masterson, of Rogers, AR.

He was preceded in death by his parents and first wife.

Mr. Bryant was an electronic engineer for 25 years at Texscan, then retired from Naval Avionics.

He was a U.S. Army veteran.  Mr. Bryant was a 1953 graduate of Ball State University.

He was a member of Crosley Car Club, and Austin Bantam Car Club.  He was a collector of antique car part treasures.  After retirement he and his wife, Bonnie enjoyed international travel and spending their winters in Bartow, FL.

Visitation will be Sunday, December 17, 2017 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Brookville Road Community Church, 7480 US 52, New Palestine, IN with a Celebration of Life following at 2 p.m.
