Frank D. Mullen 78, of Waldron passed away peacefully at home, Monday, November 20, 2017.
Born December 18, 1938 in Shelby County, he was the son of Clyde Mullen and Helen (Robinson) Mullen.
Mr. Mullen married Dianna K. Mullen on January 3, 2000 and she survives.
Frank is survived by his brother, Steve (Jan) Mullen, Frankfort, sisters, Lucinda “Cindy” Harrison, Upland, CA, Elizabeth “Liz” (Larry) Downey, Lancaster, CA, Caryl Mitchell, East Lansing, MI, and brother, Bob Mullen, Indianapolis.
He was loved by several nieces and nephews, his step-son, Jim D. (Trudy) Anderson, Rushville, daughter, Dee Colter, Orlando, FL, son, Gary W. (Julie) Anderson, Shelbyville, 12 loving grandchildren, 32 loving great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, sister-in-law, Carolyn Mullen, daughter Corinna (Anderson) Paul and granddaughter, Farica Anderson.
He was a US Army veteran. He retired from Knauf after 20 years of service.
Mr. Mullen attended Homer Christian Church. He enjoyed golfing and fishing. His most enjoyable times were spent with family and friends.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 26, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville, IN.
No funeral service will be observed. Private graveside services will be at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of South Central Indiana or the donor’s favorite charity.
