Barbara Jean Lawrence, 86, of Shelbyville, passed away, Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Waldron Health and Rehab.
Born May 22, 1931 in Shelbyville, she was the daughter of Harry Bogeman and Clara (Hamilton) Bogeman.
She was married to Jack Lawrence and he preceded her in death in January 1989.
Mrs. Lawrence is survived by her daughter, Debbie (Harmon) Clark of Shelbyville, sons, Michael (Glenda) Harmon of Shelbyville, and Harry Harmon of Columbus. 9 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, and sister, Janice Anderson of Greenwood.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons, Greg Harmon and Jeff Harmon, 2 sisters and 1 brother.
Mrs. Lawrence was employed as an accounts payable clerk at Memory Garden Management.
Barbara attended Trinity United Methodist Church. She enjoyed crocheting, loved to cook and was an avid IU Basketball and Nascar fan.
Visitation will be Monday, November 20, 2017 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
