Barbara Jean Marks, 82 of Greenfield, IN passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2017, at Grandview Health and Rehab in Martinsville IN.

Born January 2, 1935 in Fairland, IN, she was the daughter of Joseph Patterson and Stella (Crisp) Ahaus.

Barbara married James Terry Marks in 1968 and he preceded her in death in 1971.

Barbara is survived by her children, Cynthia (Jeff) Bentle, Greenfield, IN, Steven Williams, Martinsville, IN, Michael Gregory Williams, Greenfield, IN, Ginger (Terry) Cozee, Indianapolis, IN, Brian (Jessica) Marks, Indianapolis, 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, sister, Joan Verbeck, Westport, IN, brother, Marvin Holton, New London, MO.

She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Darrold Williams, son, Tony Williams, 2 brothers, and 1 sister.

Mrs. Marks was a factory worker at Presglas and retired after 19 years.

Her hobbies included crocheting, knitting, and watching classic movies. She also enjoyed listening to music. Her most precious moments were spent with her family that she loved very much.

Graveside services will be held Monday, August 14, 2017 at 1:00PM at Forest Hill Cemetery, Shelbyville, IN. with Rev. Danny Wolford officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Barbara Marks Funeral Fund in care Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville, IN. 46176.

Funeral directors Greg, Sheila, and Stuart Parks are honored to conduct the services for Mrs. Marks.

REST IN PEACE AUNT BARBARA. YOU WERE LOVED BY SO MANY. YOU WILL BE MISSED BY ALL WHO LOVED YOU. I KNOW YOU ARE WITH OUR FAMILY AGAIN. GOD BLESS YOU FOREVER.
