James G Holton, 70 of Shelbyville, IN passed away on Tuesday, August 01, 2017, at his residence.

Born February 09, 1947 in Leeton, MO, He was the son of Gaylon Holton and Lucille Cameron James married Lynn Holton on Friday, October 30, 1992 and she survives.

James is survived by his children, James G. Holton II and spouse, Shelbyville, IN, Lynn L Whitten and spouse, Shelbyville, IN, John P. Holton, and spouse Shelbyville, IN, Kandice Holton, Fairland, IN, Stephen E Thomas II, Indianapolis, , Kelly Fleming, and spouse of AZ, and sister, Delores Sloan, and spouse of MO,, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and his beloved cats.

Mr. Holton was preceded in death by his parents,: Sisters, Charlene Owens, and Martha G Holton,

Mr. Holton was an automotive service technician at Mattingly Automotive for 23 years.

He was a member of VFW and he had a love for auto racing.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, August 03, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Whispering Hope Memorial Gardens with Reverend Brandon Sutton officiating.

Burial will be in Whispering Hope Memorial Gardens with military honors conducted by local veterans organizations.

Funeral Directors Greg, Sheila, and Stuart Parks are honored to conduct the services for Mr. Holton.
