Judy K Hammond, 72 of Shelbyville, IN passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2017, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.

 

Born March 02, 1945 in Shelbyville, She was the daughter of Maurice Coulston and Izetta (Bentley) Hasecuster. 

 

Judy is survived by her son Michael (Robyn) Hammond of Shelbyville, grandchildren; Robert Cox, Alicia Cox, and Samuel Hammond, sister, Carol Collins, step-Brother Larry (Linda) Hasecuster, and sister-in-law, Jane Coulston.

 

Mrs. Hammond was preceded in death by her parents, son Stephen Lee Baker, and brother, Robert Coulston.

 

Judy was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the American Legion Auxillary. She enjoyed traveling and doing crossword puzzles. She loved the time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchild. Judy retired from Ford Motor Company where she worked in production. After retirement she worked with Seniors Helping Seniors.

 

Visitation will be Sunday, July 30, 2017 from  4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Murphy-Parks Funeral Services. 703 S. Harrison St, Shelbyville IN. 46176.

 

Funeral service will be held Monday, July 31, 2017 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home.

 

Burial will be in Whispering Hope Memorial Gardens in Shelbyville.

 

Memorial contributions may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana in honor of Judy. 2626 17th St. Columbus, Indiana 47201.

 

Funeral Directors Greg, Sheila, and Stuart Parks are honored to conduct the services for Mrs. Hammond.

So sorry for your loss. She was our American Legion Auxiliary Chaplin until her health when bad. She will be missed by all. Prayers for her family.

Judy came our salon every other week for her nails and hair. We always looked forward to seeing her. Myself, Noelle and the other girls wish to send our thoughts and prayers to all the family. You all were everything to her she talked about you all the time esp Sam stories. She was a wonderful lady and we miss her. So sorry for your loss.
